GPS And GLONASS Reception
Supports reliable position data with GPS and GLONASS receiver technology. WAAS capability is included, with specified accuracy of 3 meters.
Responsive Position Updates
Provides a 10 Hz update rate for responsive position information. iOS devices will not support a 10 Hz update rate.
Portable Battery Operation
Keeps the receiver compact for portable use at 2.12 oz (60.1 g). Its 1150mAh battery is specified for up to 13 hours of life.
Mobile Device Position Source
GLO™ 2 sends its GPS data to the mobile device of your choice using BlueTooth® wireless technology. This allows the receiver to serve as a dedicated external source of position information while keeping navigation data available on the connected device.
Compact Receiver Design
The unit measures 0.70” x 1.65” x 3.04” (1.78 x 4.19 x 7.72 cm), making it easy to carry as part of a portable setup. It is specified with a hot start time of 3-5s and a warm start time of 35s.

The Accuracy of GPS and GLONASS
GLO 2 can receive position information from both the GPS and GLONASS satellite constellations, allowing it to connect to up to 24 more satellites than devices that rely on GPS alone. This allows GLO 2 to lock on to satellites approximately 20% faster and remain connected even at high speed. What’s more, GLO 2 updates its position information at 10 times per second; that’s up to 10 times more often than the GPS receivers in many mobile devices.
Set It up and Go
Using Bluetooth technology, the GLO 2 receiver wirelessly pairs to your mobile device. Just set GLO 2 within range of your mobile device, and in moments, you’ll be receiving the GLO 2 receiver’s position data. It has up to 13 hours of battery life to keep your position on long trips, and charging GLO 2 between uses is easy with the included USB cable or optional 12/24 V vehicle power cable. The optional friction mount keeps the receiver safe on your dashboard and in full view of satellites.
