GARMIN GEA™ 24 Engine Indication System (EIS) EXPERIMENTAL - 010-02770-00
The Garmin GEA™ 24B is a remote-mounted engine and airframe interface module designed for experimental aircraft. When connected to a compatible Garmin flight display and properly configured sensors, it supports an integrated Engine Indication System presentation for engine gauges, operating ranges, alerts, fuel, flaps, trim and other important aircraft data.
Configurable Engine Monitoring
Configure aircraft-specific engine gauges, color bands and alerts around the aircraft, engine and operating requirements. The connected Garmin display presents sensor information in an organized format for efficient engine monitoring.
Engine And Airframe Integration
Connect compatible engine and airframe sensors to monitor information such as cylinder head temperature, exhaust gas temperature, oil data, fuel information, flap position, trim position and other supported inputs.
Expandable Engine Support
A single GEA 24B supports piston engines with up to six cylinders as well as turbine applications. Installations with more than six cylinders or twin engines typically require a second GEA module.
Integrated EIS Presentation
The GEA 24B receives information from compatible engine and aircraft sensors and provides that data to the connected Garmin flight display system. This allows engine gauges, operating ranges, warnings and supporting airframe indications to be presented alongside other essential flight information.
Flexible Sensor Configuration
Garmin offers sensor kits for common four- and six-cylinder Lycoming and Continental engines as well as select Rotax configurations. Compatible sensors may also be selected individually when a complete sensor kit does not match the aircraft or engine installation.
Plan The Complete Installation
Part number 010-02770-00 includes the GEA 24B unit only. The appropriate connector kit, engine sensors, wiring and other installation components are selected separately according to the aircraft, engine and compatible Garmin display configuration.
