Garmin VIRB® Accessory

This Garmin Headset Audio Cable is identified as the Headset Audio Cable (VIRB®), part number 010-11921-22.

Cockpit Audio Context

Flight video can be more informative when it includes the audio associated with the operation. This cable supports recording both narration and radio communications while flying, helping preserve the context around the footage.

Purpose-Built VIRB® Cable

The cable is offered as a Garmin VIRB® headset audio accessory. Its stated function is to bring headset audio into video recordings rather than relying only on the camera’s ambient audio.

The Garmin Headset Audio Cable (VIRB®) supports in-flight video narration and recording of radio communications. Designed for use with a headset audio connection, it helps pilots capture cockpit audio alongside VIRB video footage for a more complete record of each flight.

Narrate videos you capture in your cockpit, document radio transmissions and record all of your other headset audio with this accessory for VIRB® action cameras. Because it records audio in stereo, 3D Audio from capable radios and audio panels is perfectly preserved as well as any stereo music or auxiliary audio sources. It intercepts audio between your audio out jack and your headset, so you won't lose access to an audio out jack that you, your copilot or passengers may want to use.
