Garmin G3X Touch GDU 460 10.6-Inch Landscape PMA Display | 010-02319-00

Garmin G3X Touch™ GDU 460, PMA, Standard — 10.6" Landscape Flight Display brings primary flight, multifunction and optional engine indication capability to eligible certificated single-engine piston aircraft in a large touchscreen format. Part number 010-02319-00 provides a high-resolution landscape display with standard SVX™ synthetic vision, internal navigation capability for VFR use and built-in Connext® wireless connectivity.

Large 10.6-Inch Landscape Display

The GDU 460 uses a 10.6" diagonal landscape display with 1280 × 768 resolution and a high-resolution infrared touchscreen interface. Its wide format provides room for full-screen PFD or MFD presentation, combined PFD/MFD layouts and an available engine-information strip while retaining dual-concentric knobs for tactile control.

PFD, MFD And Optional EIS Capability

Configure the GDU 460 to present primary flight, multifunction or combined PFD/MFD information within an approved G3X Touch installation. When paired with a compatible GEA™ 24 engine interface and approved sensor package, the display can also present primary engine gauges, operating ranges, fuel information and alerts.

Synthetic Vision And Wireless Connectivity

Standard SVX synthetic vision provides a three-dimensional depiction of terrain, obstacles, water features, airports and the runway environment. Built-in Connext connectivity supports compatible wireless flight-plan transfer and sharing of selected GPS position, attitude, traffic and weather information with supported mobile devices.

Primary Flight And Multifunction Display Capability

The GDU 460 can serve as the primary display in a large single-screen certified G3X Touch installation or as part of an approved multidisplay system. In a compatible PFD configuration, it presents attitude, airspeed, altitude, vertical speed, heading, navigation guidance, flight director information and other essential flight data supplied by the connected ADAHRS and avionics. Multifunction presentation can include moving maps, flight plans, waypoint information, terrain, obstacles, VFR sectionals, IFR enroute charts, geo-referenced approach charts and available traffic or weather information. The wide screen can also combine primary flight and multifunction windows to keep several types of information visible at the same time.

VFR Navigation And External IFR Integration

G3X Touch includes internal navigation capability for standalone VFR operation, including position, moving-map, flight-plan and vertical-navigation functions. The internal navigation source must not be represented as an approved source for instrument approach navigation. Approved IFR guidance requires a compatible external GPS navigator or NAV/COMM, appropriate databases, approved wiring interfaces and a properly configured aircraft installation. In supported systems, G3X Touch can also interface with the Garmin GFC™ 500 autopilot for flight director and fully coupled approach capability.

Display Specifications And System Planning

The GDU 460 has a 10.6" diagonal landscape display with 1280 × 768 resolution and measures approximately 10.85" wide by 7.82" high by 3.57" deep, with the published depth including the recommended backshell. Published unit weight is approximately 4.6 pounds without the nut plate and connector. It accepts 10–32 VDC input power and has a published maximum load of 28 watts. Part number 010-02319-00 should not be treated as a complete installed G3X Touch system unless the listing specifically identifies all accompanying equipment. ADAHRS, magnetometer, temperature probe, engine interface, sensors, external navigator, standby instrument and installation hardware may need to be selected separately.

Not sure this is the right fit for your aircraft?

Certified G3X Touch installations require professional system planning and installation. Aircraft eligibility, approved display location, ADAHRS and magnetometer requirements, external navigator compatibility, engine monitoring equipment, autopilot integration, standby instrumentation, transponder and datalink interfaces, antennas, connector kits and wiring must be confirmed for the specific aircraft. Contact Neal Avionics before ordering so we can verify part number 010-02319-00 and help identify the additional components required for your installation.
